Have you ever discovered small, mostly circular and hairless spots in the fur of your horse? Such symptoms often indicate a skin fungus. It is then necessary to separate the affected animal from other animals in the stable, because a fungus in horses is always contagious. And often the fungal infestation not only affects the horse, but also parts of the stable equipment or, for example, the grooming kit. The fungus feels particularly at home in horses during the winter months, when the fur is particularly dense and warm and a little damp due to the weather - and the horses also like to be covered up. However, a tincture can help, which you can order online here in the shop:ARAN-YA Anti Fungal & Mitestops not only the skin fungus, but also the mite infestation in the horse.
fungus in horses? We create sustainable remedy!
Like the most diverse bacteria, fungi are part of the natural skin flora of all living beings – including horses. If their immune system is intact, then they have no problem with the presence of the fungus, but if this is not the case, the fungus can cause a skin disease in the horse due to overreproduction, which should be counteracted simply because of the risk of infection. Fungal infestation is one of the most common skin diseases in horses, in Germany every 15th horse is said to be affected.
Two types of mushrooms in particular are widespread in this country:
-
Trichophyton species (such as Trichophyton equinum)
-
Microsporum species (such as Microsporum canis)
How can the fungal infestation in the horse be recognized - and what can you do in principle?
Unfortunately, the fungus is only slightly noticeable in horses, especially in the early stages of pathological proliferation. Initially, small wheals and relatively inconspicuous swellings usually form. Then the hair stands on end in the affected areas and dandruff or a crust appears there. The hair can often be pulled out in clumps, leaving bare patches of scaly skin. In the further course, these individual circular areas can flow together to form larger, irregular areas. Such skin changes are mainly found on the neck and head as well as the shoulders or in the saddle and girth areas. Unlike a Summer eczema must be in the affected horse but an itch does not necessarily occur.
In addition to the already mentioned separation to prevent spread, sunlight, for example, helps a horse who is already ill, as this is not well tolerated by the fungal spores. Increased exercise also supports the strengthening of the immune system, which is often weakened, especially in young or old horses and thus promotes the skin fungus in its proliferation. A change in diet can also initiate positive changes here.
Permanently stop fungus in horses with effective products from ARAN-YA
In addition, however, ARAN-YA Anti-fungal & mite helps against mites and fungal infestation in horses and, as one of our products with purely biological care components, causes rapid regeneration of the horse's skin. In addition, the tincture, which you can buy cheaply directly from the manufacturer, prevents mites and fungi from settling again and immediately relieves any itching that may occur. Even in completely bald areas, the fur begins to grow again after just a few days. This is remarkable insofar as ARAN-YA Anti Fungal & Mite releases its ingredients particularly slowly and evenly through the integrated CSS (Controlled Supply System). As a result, the cortisone and antibiotic-free agent is very economical and has a particularly long-lasting effect.
